About
Paradarium (pair·ah·dar·ium)
Paradarium is an attempt at making the world’s most accurate web slinger virtual reality game. This addition to the “Spider Universe” of VR games adds a fully physics based swinging mechanic, taking the mass of the player and speed of a controller and calculating the resulting force. It also combines the best features of these games:
- Web Guy VR: Swinging
- Project Demigod: Flipping and Wall-running
- Spiderini: Wall Climbing
integrating them to make the most immersive spider-human VR experience.
Victory & Replay:
In Paradarium, there will be time trials that test how fast you can get through the different maps, crime to take down, and eventually even a story mode. All of these being reasons to keep playing as well as feeling awesome, flipping around the city as your favorite web-slinger.
Extras & Special Features:
Adding Steam workshop support to Paradarium is a goal for later in development as to add more replay-ability to the game. The more maps and character models players add the more enjoyment they can get out of it.
Adding a quest system is another big thing Project Swamp wants to bring to the table for gameplay variability and victory.
Adding excess objects like rocks, crates, light poles to fling around into walls or enemies.
Developers
Xander Holt
Project Manager
He oversees all of the development of Project Swamp’s projects and their development. Don’t call him anything other than this.
Alexander Holt
Art Manager
Having been in art classes since the 6th grade, Alexander likes to draw and animate (mainly in pixel art). While this is his real name, only a few people are allowed to call him this including his Nana and Robert Dodson of Middleton High School.
Alex Holt
Program Manager
He has been programming in one way or another since elementary school where he dabbled in the Code.org Minecraft challenges. Since the beginning of 2023, he has aspired to make a Spider-Human VR game that would make the top of
Dorainn’s “Best Spider-Man VR game” list. Only one person is allowed to call him “Alex” and that is his 8th grade science teacher because he was too scared of her to correct her on the first day of school.
Lex Holt
Story Manager
He has always been a good story teller from his first (unreleased) hit “Meatball town” till his 12th grade stories to make certain events funny that he calls “Bits”.
If you call him this…
you are dead to him.
